This was far more complicated, but I fell looked better. Here the lightening conducts around the hammer, involving each branch being individually key-framed around the hammer, the colours also had to correlate better as they over lapped, and I had to explore all possibilities to find the best result as this was my first time using advanced lightening. This is more time consuming but I think worth it as it looks far better. Understanding my effects will never look as good at the Avengers or Thor movies (they had different hammers built for different reasons, so there was one that lit up for effects of lightening to be added later) I do think mine look good. If I had a hammer that lit up I'm sure it would look more convincing that the hammer is conducting the lightening but for my budget I am happy with how the effect looks.
