James Whales 'Frankenstein' was released in 1931. Based on Mary Shelley's novel, the film is considered a classic.
The trailer uses voice over and text to tell the story, almost persuading the audience that the film is scary than anything else and factually a fantastic film; "The greatest Horror the screen has ever known!". Its very classical, iconic, and eye catching, advertising the film as a an essential watch. The trailer uses not particulally dynamic shots but very creative lighting, and composition to set the scenes.
