Shoot 2: Method Statement

Method Statement

Video Filming -  6:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesday 10th of December 2013

Location – Leeds College of Art Studio Theater (Green Screen Scene).

For this section of the film, Thor and Loki battle for a maximum of 10 seconds across a lava background.

There will be two actors (one being director also who will over-see health and safety), a camera operator, a hair and makeup artist over seeing continuity (of the whole project), a sound recorder, and documenter. In total 6 people will be present.  All members will help carrying equipment up the moor and I will personally see that no one person carries too much (for the safety of the person and equipment.)

Due to the nature of the film, the two actors will wear leather costumes which will provide protection from small grazes if unforeseen accidents happen (such as tripping over a cape or getting hurt in a choreographed fight scene) but no safety equipment will be required.

Equipment

-       1 x 5D camera
-       1 x Boom mike, and extension with Recoder
-       1 x Tripod
-       1 x Green Screen
-       1 x Make up powder and concealer
-       6 x Superglue tubes (to fix costumes and props if they break)
-       2 x Costumes (leather boots, coat, vest, cape, 4 x shin pads, wig, trousers)
-       2 x Contact lenses
-       2 x Lights
-       1 x Hairspray

-       1x Pack of plasters (if actors are grazed.)
-       2 x Spray paints (to fix costumes and props if they break)
-       Plastic hammer
-       Plastic Sceptor (staff)

What will be done on location:

1.      Green Screen set up.

2.      Lights are assembled in correct place.

3.      Tripod set up so frame is within green screen.

4.      Actors go over the previously choreographed fight, ensuring it is all within green screen framing.

5.      Scene is filmed.

6.      Equipment packed away (lights last as they need to cool down).

7.      Team departs.
