Shoot 3 + 4 Method Statement

Method Statement

Video Filming - Stoodley Pike 9:00am – 12:00pm and Bride Stone rocks 1:00pm – 4:00pm Thursday 12th of December 2013.

Location – Stoodley Pike and the Bride Stone Rocks, Todmorden moors.

For this section of the film, firstly Thor confronts Loki and after short dialogue, they begin to fight. The second scene is the final scene where they battle, and Thor defeats Loki.

There will be two actors (one being director also who will over-see health and safety), a camera operator, a hair and makeup artist over seeing continuity, a sound recorder, an runner and documenter. In total 7 people will be present.  All members will help carrying equipment up the moor and I will personally see that no one person carries too much (for the safety of the person and equipment.)

Due to the nature of the film, the two actors will wear leather costumes which will provide protection from small grazes if unforeseen accidents happen (such as tripping over a cape and falling during chorographer fight scenes) but no safety equipment will be required. One team member will also be looking out for tourists to ensure no one thinks two people are actually fighting.

Because we are filming on moors, if the wind is too high and fast, the crane will not be used, and the fight sequence will not take place near the edge of the rocks.

No lightening will be present as the area is outside. All electrical equipment will be battery powered and no generators will be on site.

No smoking or alcohol of any kind will be permitted.
