Although this image doesn’t display Kong’s home well, I wanted
to include it. King Kong lives at the tallest point on his island, because it’s
where he feels most safe. In Peter Jackson’s version it is clear his entire
family once lived here, due to the bones and skeletons still on the floor. I liked
the idea that his home and safe place is eventually his cause for his death,
and that it had significance to the story.
