Creature from the Black Lagoon

Jack Arnold's Creature from the Black Lagoon trailer followed the same trend as Dracula and Frankenstein. Although due to a later release date (1954) it can display a far greater use of technology, such as Ben Chapman, (who played the creature on land) could be replaced with Ricou Browning, who played the creature underwater, for all the underwater action scences. This is not only impresive for the use of  underwater cameras, but also the abality for the actor to be able to swim, act and breath inside a costume underwater.
