Like Oblivion, I struggled to see any clear plot for this
movie. Clearly it was about scientist who have travelled in to space to meet
their makers, but it seemed only to be on random event after another, where the
characters logic made zero sense. Even casting an actor as talented as Michael
Fassbender as an emotionless robot seemed like a waste of talent, (this said,
he and the CGI were the only good things about the movie). The design work was
also great, but it all seems rather pointless and hard to appreciate when the
story and movie are so poor.
