Researching the Map: Game of Thrones

Here are the maps for the Game of Thrones world, mainly set in Westeros. These maps have alot of care and devotion put into their appearance, but prove problematic for a few reasons. Such as scale. How big is this world? It also somehow looks more empty than I think the Game of Thrones world is, especially in the North. Visually its very pretty, much like the Middle Earth map, the fonts a nice and the illustration is highly detailed, making it an appealing piece of art.

The locations used in Game of thrones is also spectacular and diverse. Some of my favorites being The wall of the North and the Market. These are places I can see in my world, and are designs I would take influence from.
