Researching the North: Ice Age

The concept art for the Ice Age franchise also captures the scale of the world, for example these huge ice cliffs on the two images below, and the size of the tree trunk on the third image down. The colour is also used exceptionally well, though the weather seems to bright and joyful for the atmosphere I would want to create. Also, height is given by the placement of the clouds low down, something that can be seen often in Planet Earth images I collected.
