Visual character development and practice.
Something else I wanted to accomplish was to improve my illustration skills. One thing I learnt was the first drawing is never as good as the next one will be. I practiced each character until I felt I could illustrate them accurately, which often meant reflecting on feedback given at comic conventions to improve my work, often regarding form, anatomy, and clothing. Now looking back at each characters initial drawing, I can clearly see how this feedback has helped me improve.
