VFX Audio Workshop 2

We then looked more into Premiere and how to set up a video on there while looking at certain settings. We set up our file to run at DV - PAL 48kHz and downloaded some pre-made files that had audio and video already on it. We then looked at the Digital Broadcast Signal, which is the long beeping noise and HD colour bars that were used to set up terrestrial TV's. The beeping noise is the pitch that all films should be set to, standard -12dB, and no company will accept anything lower than this in the industry.

We then quickly went over key framing again and added in some basic key frame points onto the audio and the film itself. Key framing can also be used if you need to cut out small sections of audio or video. We then took the first 6 seconds of footage of a car passing down a street. We took away all audio and use sound tracks that we have been given to add over the top. Over the street shot we added in a simple bird tweeting with no other noise and then we added the noise of the car passing by, with some simple music over the top, to create the correct noises that would be present in the scene.
